Creating a Fabulous Dialogue Between Lines and Space

Plains and lines respond to each other in a fabulous way by linear separation at varied scales with intercrossing lines and overlapping plain masses elevated. A rectangular overlap of masses and a linear visual extension of angles construe a nice and neat scene in space. A linear configuration presents the beauty of lines in a room full of calm and sublimation.

Spanning over 1000m², this design utilizes a combination of linear lines and multi-materials to define the spatial masses. The deliberate use of dim chromatic space enhances the subtlety and clarity of the lines, creating a visually captivating experience.

The design seamlessly integrates different zones, starting from the entrance of the lobby. The concept of continuity is emphasized, allowing visitors to walk through and explore the space while maintaining a cohesive design language.

Created in Taiwan between 2014 and 2015, this interior space design by Lin Chang Man has garnered recognition and accolades. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2017, in the category of Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. This prestigious award celebrates designs that showcase creativity, resourcefulness, and technical expertise, contributing to the improvement of quality of life.
